What makes running a volleyball club different

A Spanish amateur volleyball club is rarely indoor-only or beach-only: the norm is an indoor season from September to June, with regional federated competition and possibly national play, plus a beach volleyball season in summer with tournaments on the coast. Both modalities share players but have totally different calendars, fees and structure. Any tool that only understands one of them forces you to invent manual patches for the other.

On the other hand, formative volleyball schools run by skill level, not by pure age categories. A 14-year-old student can be in the beginner group if they've been training 6 months, in the advanced group if they've been training 4 years, or skip levels if they show promise. Legacy tools (Clupik, Playoff) are built for sports where age category is the primary unit, and that fits formative volleyball badly. OneClub lets you configure both age categories (official federation) and school levels in parallel, with different fees for each.

And then there's the coexistence of school students and competition players. In the same club you find members paying a monthly formative-school fee (without competing) and players paying a different fee because they train more hours and compete in federated leagues. Some move from school to competition mid-season, others go the opposite way. OneClub manages that flow without forcing the treasurer to reconfigure anything: you change the player's plan and the fee adjusts from the next charge.

What OneClub brings

Built for the volleyball club with school and competition

Six features designed for formative volleyball clubs with dual indoor + beach season and a school + competition mix.

Dual indoor + beach volleyball season

Configure the indoor season (September to June) with its teams, fees and federated calendar, and the beach volleyball season (summer) with its one-off tournaments and a different charging model. Players can be in both modalities or just one. OneClub manages both calendars without duplicating databases or accounts.

Formative school by skill level

Configure school levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced, high-performance) with their different fees and training schedules. Each student is assigned a level and the fee applies automatically. If a student moves up mid-season, you move their profile and the fee adjusts from the next charge.

Federation categories and regional competition

Supports the official categories used by the Royal Spanish Volleyball Federation and its regional federations (U12, U14, U16, U18, senior, plus Super Liga and Super Liga 2 divisions if applicable). Each category is a team with its own coach, federated calendar and communication channel. Automatic age-based promotion every August.

Male and female teams with separate calendars

Create two teams per category (U18 male, U18 female) with their own match calendars, which in volleyball are usually different by gender. Native multi-child lets a family with a son and a daughter pay both fees with ONE card and receive both call-ups in the same portal.

Communication per team, per level or per club

Each competition team has its communication channel with its players and families. Each school level has its own channel with its students. And the whole club has a general channel for important announcements (open tournaments, end of season, assemblies). Granular permissions per coach and team manager.

One-off registrations for beach volleyball tournaments

In summer, one-off beach volleyball tournaments are managed as events with max seats and single payment per pair or team. Share a public signup link and players register with their pair, pay by card and receive confirmation. If the tournament is club-members-only there's a discount; if it's open to non-members, the flow is the same without discount.

Who it's for

Typical volleyball club setups

Three club profiles that fit OneClub best. If your club looks like one of these, you'll save hours every week.

Formative volleyball club with regional competition

100-300 players across 6-15 teams: academy from U12 to U18 (male+female) plus male and female senior in regional competition. Critical: formative school by skill level, native multi-child, team communication and federated calendar.

Volleyball school with beach season

Formative school of 50-150 indoor students from September to June plus one-off beach volleyball tournaments in summer. Critical: monthly fee per level during the season, one-off registrations for summer tournaments and coordinated family communication. OneClub lets you start with the free Starter plan up to 50 members.

Volleyball club with national competition section

Club with a formative academy of 100-200 students plus a senior section competing in Super Liga 2 or Primera División Nacional. Needs to manage both worlds: the formative side with families and variable monthly fee by level, and the national senior side with adult players, travel and stipends. OneClub runs both structures in parallel without duplicating databases.

How it works in a volleyball club

The typical flow from the moment you open an account until the season is running on autopilot.

  1. 1

Set up school levels and competition categories

Define the formative school levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced, high-performance) with their fees and schedules. Create the official federation categories for the competition teams (U12 to senior, male+female) with their coaches and team managers.

  2. 2

Open online registrations with differentiated plans

Share a public signup link. Families or adult players register, pick their school level or competition team, upload the minor's documents if applicable and pay the first fee by card.

  3. 3

Set up federated calendar and beach tournaments

Upload your regional federation matches into each team's calendar. Create summer beach volleyball tournaments as one-off events with max seats and single payment per pair. Share the signup link with members and other clubs if you want to open it up.

  4. 4

    OneClub runs the full season

Monthly fees on autopilot during the indoor season, one-off registrations for beach tournaments, team and level communication, updated federated calendar and arrears control with dunning. All on the same platform.

Real case
We have a formative indoor school plus beach volleyball tournaments in summer. Before it was chaos: Excels for the school, WhatsApp lists for the beach tournaments, uncoordinated payments. Now the entire annual cycle fits in OneClub: students by level paying month-by-month in winter, pairs signing up for beach tournaments in summer, all from the same account.
